⚠️ Important Notice
All subscription payments for SwiftReceipt are processed through Apple's App Store. We cannot directly process refunds. Please contact Apple Support for refund requests.
1. Refund Process
1.1 How to Request a Refund
To request a refund for your SwiftReceipt subscription:
- Go to reportaproblem.apple.com
- Sign in with your Apple ID
- Find SwiftReceipt in your purchase history
- Select "Request a refund"
- Choose a reason and submit your request
1.2 Alternative Methods
- Contact Apple Support directly through your device
- Use the Apple Support app
- Call Apple Support at 1-800-275-2273 (US)
2. Refund Eligibility
2.1 When Refunds Are Available
Apple may approve refunds for:
- Accidental purchases
- Technical issues preventing app use
- App not working as described
- Unauthorized purchases
- Duplicate charges
2.2 When Refunds May Not Be Available
Refunds are typically not available for:
- Change of mind after using the service
- Not reading the app description
- Device compatibility issues (check requirements first)
- Partial month usage
3. Refund Timeline
3.1 Processing Time
- Apple typically processes refund requests within 1-3 business days
- Refund approval is at Apple's discretion
- You will receive an email notification of the decision
3.2 Refund Delivery
- Refunds are credited back to your original payment method
- Credit card refunds may take 3-5 business days
- App Store credit refunds are immediate
4. Subscription Cancellation vs Refund
4.1 Cancellation
To stop future charges:
- Go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions
- Find SwiftReceipt and tap "Cancel Subscription"
- You'll keep access until the end of your current period
- No refund for the current period
4.2 Refund
To get money back for the current period:
- Request a refund through Apple
- Access will be revoked immediately if approved
- You'll receive a partial or full refund
5. Common Refund Scenarios
5.1 Technical Issues
If the app doesn't work properly:
- Contact us first at SwiftReceiptApp@gmail.com
- We'll try to resolve the issue
- If we can't fix it, request a refund through Apple
5.2 Accidental Purchase
If you accidentally subscribed:
- Cancel the subscription immediately
- Request a refund through Apple
- Explain it was an accidental purchase
5.3 Unauthorized Purchase
If someone else made the purchase:
- Contact Apple Support immediately
- Report the unauthorized transaction
- Apple will investigate and may provide a refund
